an even trade
my silence for yours

deep roots
a place in tune
with emotions
I cannot grasp
You cannot know
and if i believe
More deeply
why should i care
for one whose emotions
are so closely tied
with self preservation
that are no different
Than my own
Preserving something
Not worth the sacrifice
for reasons and feelings
you cannot experience
But I asked even more
You can't stop living
Just as I can't live
Happy or content
With what you're asking
Or what I would ask
If only I knew how
