There is peace in the forest
a calm upon broad fields
a person can find quiet
in time spent meditatively
alone you can delve infinity
unfettered by distractions
there are mysteries to live
visible only to one alone
I look to the center
of all things there are
But a life of peace
is no life at all
Don't offer me peace
I want to love so deeply
that it hurts all the time
I want the pain of my love
to let me know that I am alive
