That's a good question. The answer is uncertain, of course, but it is suggested by the basic equation e=m in god's universe and e=mc^2 in ours.
So, everyone who asked now has the answer, right? Still not happy? Ok, if in god's universe (from where ours is made) e=m then the only by burning mass can you get movement and time. What this suggests is that a dimension, for example of the steady state god universe is burned in order to get time. It a trade of a relatively solid mass in exchange for time which gives rise to light and time.
The pressure from this might even be the reverse energy in the form of gravity which would allow some universal field answers (the fourth dimension giving rise to both gravity and time).
I will work on this further, perhaps even try to put some math to it later, keep those cards and questions coming.
