I'm not going to give up on love
I think it has some sort of place
And if I ever figure it out
I will write a paper on it
I gave up on poetry a long time ago
Many things are worse than heartbreak
And if I ever figure one out
Well, I'll never figure that out
but if I do I'll write a paper
you need to have something
from or with your lover
hope for the future
no matter how bad it is today
you have to feel safe
you have to have fun
and you have to get laid
or you have to be too old
and then you should be dead
You can't wait forever
Some things are worse than despair
things like waiting forever
because life is not about waiting
no one should have to do that
