China invades moon with technology stolen from USA resulting from congressional incompetence

And to think I was planning on giving you the moon!
Well, there are other moons.

This is one more result of the insane idea that manufacturing can be outsourced without losing innovative and technological edges.
Books like "The world is flat" ignore the long term consequences of outsourcing and ignore that fact that we live in an imperfect world where people and countries are ready to enslave one another for their own personal gratification.
Most innovation comes from individuals who spy opportunities, and those who seize it ones it appears.  If the manufacturing is outsourced, if the technology is developed somewhere else, there are no innovations and when they do arise, the resources to capitalize on them are not available.
It's the end of the world, and the moon belongs to those who still have the manufacturing, the technology and the dollars that go with it.
