New therapy for cancer & World War C

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/02/140219142556.htm

We can probably extend life indefinitely in the future.  What does this have to do with the war with China?  This question is answered in World War C and I'm not going to add it here.  But when you are dying (or someone you love) and you see your life cannot be extended, you can pick up a copy and thumb through it and you'll see why not.

I can assure you that corrupt politicians will outlive you, at least on average.

If you apply intelligence standards to these problems and if you weaponize your economy, at least to the extent necessary to defend it, you might have a chance for your children to experience this; but we'll probably get hit by a meteor first, because the technology and manufacturing we need to defend against this and other threats is being exported overseas.
