Backwards time presumes that everything has already happened.
In that event time can move from any point outward or inward
everyone you've ever been with you will be with forever
every mistake you have made in love and every triumph
exists in this one place where everything exists at once
this means that you may not have any choice
or it means that your failure to choose true love
at every turn, no matter what happens
means that you already failed to pursue your dreams
if time moves backwards you go from your last day
through each of these mistakes all the way back
and this means that every minute of everyday
you owe it to your predetermined self
to sacrifice everything for what you know to be right
and all of the horrible mistakes, that you haven't made yet
but that you will mistake one day
the ones where you knew what was right
and the ones where you did not know
but where the wrong choice was made
are not examples of where you tried and failed
but where you failed to try and succeeded
as Thursday comes to me, the day of proving love
what are we if we let this day come and go
leaving love waiting in the past
