So long

It has been so long
since I laughed out loud
since i stayed up all night
since i heard your voice
since I heard you laugh
since I touched you
since I felt your touch
It has been so long
since i thought of anyone
besides thinking of you
since i felt the excitement
of a new opportunity
for laughter, friendship, love
and it has been so long
since i have given up
on laughing, friendship, someone
and it will be so long
before having given up
I will be able to move on
it has been so long
so so long

Frustration

I'm a naturally happy person.  Some days, like today, the frustration of trying so hard and being thwarted at every turn is almost unbearable.  No, that's not right.  It is unbearable.  Only insanity would allow someone to put up with all these idiotic problems.
Now I'm not one to deny that many of are my own making.  Ok, maybe they are all a result of my design, but no one could try any harder than I've tried to make things right and I can't help it if my efforts end up misguided.
And who can any of us turn to?  Who is really there who can make this frustration go away.  It's times like this that I can understand why people go mad, not that there is ever I time when I cannot understand it.
I picked up my pen this morning, all I wanted to do was spend a little time describing the process by which the universe allows the change of time coordinates to move things across space and instead, I end up, at the end of the day, posting a completely incomplete entry on the subject, barely hitting the fine points, because I can't get 5 minutes to myself without something technological going wrong, something personal which will not leave me alone for a minute.
I tried swimming, could barely concentrate on it, although afterwards I did have my only five minutes of peace this whole day.
I am going to find something to read and try to relax.
I am going to ignore those things I should be talking to,
Try to ignore those people I should be doing.
Try to get some perspective, try to find some peace, try not to go insane,

Non-linear time theory-expansion: How a real transporter would work

I would prefer to wait for the publication of the second edition for describing how a transporter would work, but there are enough question about why time expands outside of a gravity well and not within one (even though in NLT it's pretty clear once you understand the fundamentals) and how you would test conservation of mass (determining if there is as much time going non-linear as going linear) and the like that I need to cover at least some of the details here and we'll save the details for the presentation at Stanford or the Cern.
If you look at earlier "chapters" what you see is that by modifying time coordinates, you can move anywhere in the universe instantly, but not why or how you would do it.  In addition, I mentioned that if such occurs it must occur in nature to some extent and, of course, it does.  While this does not "prove" NLT, it does validate it as a legitimate theory explaining phenomena that traditional fundamental physicists fumble with (not by solving the equations, I'm not going to do that at least not yet, but by putting the solutions off on non-linear time).
In order to provide this relatively simple solution of building a functioning transporter and allowing instant transportation anywhere in the universe we have to look at what happens in nature, we have to talk about what astronomers mostly miss in defining the universe (at least according to Non-Linear Time Theory) which is why expansion occurs the way it does in the universe and what it teaches us.  This takes us to the next question:
Why does the universe expand only outside of "gravity wells" (gravity wells are where in traditional time-space physics space is viewed as "dented" by mass so that a funnel shaped depression is often shown in drawings of the effect, but we "know" the answer is that time is being pulled to non-linearity which has the same effect.
First, Why does the universe only expand outside of these gravity wells?  What does gravity show us about non-linear time going linear (and vice-versa)?  We know gravity is a weak force.  We also know it can be concentrated and least to the point where we leave space and therefore go non-linear (see earlier chapters).  So what does this tell us about time going linear?  Wait for it...Time going linear must be a correspondingly weak force as it shows in our universe.  Now if enough time goes non-linear together with the same coordinates, you get the entire universe and the big bang.  But we've had that and now we have this huge set of coordinate space and we have these gravity wells which did not exist at the time the universe started and we still need to make all this relevant to a working transporter allowing you to instantaneously transport yourself anywhere in the universe!
So first, let's determine why time only goes non-linear in open space far outside of the gravity wells.  In order to understand this, it is helpful to think of a set of tree roots growing out from a tree in proximity to a concrete slab.  Where do they go?  If you said "right through the slab" you might be right eventually.  But in the immediate time frame they go under the slab.  Why?  Because there is less resistance.  It is likely that the expansion of space is driven by time going linear and creating space (just like it did at the big bang) and there is too much pressure around gravity for this to be easy, because...wait for it...like it's counterpart gravity it must be a very weak force.  So concentrated gravity can overcome the weak tendency of time to go non-linear just as sufficiently concentrated time can cause time to go non-linear (as in black holes) and lose its time and space coordinates or at least make it where they are increasingly non-changing to varying degrees until the change goes to zero outside of space and time as we know it (or maybe I should say as we experience it).
Someone who doesn't understand NLT might expect space to expand from the "center" of the universe.  But since space doesn't really exist except as a manifestation of time going non-linear, "where" is arbitrary.  The only thing we "experience" appears to be changing coordinates.  Hence, there is no "force" to overcome in changing coordinates, only to overcome the weak, but concentrated effects of gravity.    Hence time should expand anywhere where gravity doesn't effect it.
Now what does this tell us about the universe and mass.  Either the creation of space is offset by time going non-linear or the universe should show an increase in mass.  If it were to show an increase in mass, this increase would reflect the activity of non-linear time.  If the mass does not increase, it should mean that time (in the form of mass and energy) is going non-linear (presumably in black holes) as fast as space is being created.
Note that both of these are "observed" phenomena just as fusion and fission are observed and both are observed consistent with the dictates of non-linear time theory.
So how does a "real" transporter work?
First, you must create a gravity vacuum at the point you want to end up.  Now some of you are saying, that you have to escape gravity to do this, but that is not the case and we have examples that have been pointed out in earlier entries that discuss how this is done.
Second, you have to create at the point where the mass exists a concentration of matter sufficient to drop out of the universe which, fortunately, is essentially the same process as the first step.
You have to be able to control the coordinates at the point in the universe where the time goes back to linearity (i.e. where the coordinates begin to change) but this should be done by operation of the first step.
Since we observe this phenomena in the universe as the creation of space from concentrations of black holes (presumably) it stands to reason that we can do it operationally using the techniques we already use to create non-linear space in supercolliders.

Can we do the same thing with time?  It is just a coordinate of non-linear time.  Can I go back in time and tell myself all the mistakes I've made before I make them, can I tell you?  That, and a more in depth discussion as to how this is done, is for a future entry.

Traveling alone 2500 years ago and today

That adventure ended well.  One adventure ends the next begins.
What notes to make?  The only bridges east and west were not interstate, the worst reduced to one way traffic.  The salted bridges having had all the salt had worn off to expose the black ice underneath.  The long bridges across the bay that never see cold covered with black ice and snow frozen into solid sheets of white ice.  A tunnel with no traffic at all, so you can stop in the middle to take a picture of the strange emptiness.
The cold that pierces almost to the heart that you've frozen solid from within.

Traveling alone 2500 years ago and today

This is a strange place in which I find myself.  Armed with an air card, I can reach out, and yet as would have been the case 2500 years ago, I am stuck.  There is black ice on the roads and far ahead, in some unseen place on a dark road where there is, quite literally,  nothing of consequence greater than a tree on either side.
2500 years ago, perhaps a similar condition (it is well below freezing temperature outside) might lead a traveler with hands shaking from the cold to write a few well intentioned last words.  I consider that less likely in my situation, but I am no better informed nor am I overly comforted by knowing that the words I can type (as I am quite litterally sitting still) will be read.
Perhaps it is, by being less scary (but not completely un-scary) nothing but a farce, an amusement park rendition of being trapped, as by a frozen river.  But it is dark, it is night and I am not moving and the temperature will continue to drop.  Oddly, while I have very little else to commend myself, I do have a case of wine with me, something from which I can draw no comfort if I decide to drive on.
What lies ahead of me and whether or not I will see it in the hours to come or in the light of the morning remains to be seen.  Like the traveler of 2500 years ago, my situation lies in someone else hands and the future both intriguing and uncertain, the specter of what lies ahead of me unclear, supported to some extent by my ignorance (which is fairly significant) and by the hope that if I wait long enough, the road ahead will open for me like the arms of a lover.
Stay tuned.

Non-linear expansion 3

As we move forward to discuss the expansion of space, many of the scoffers are hacking (scoffing?) their hearts out, but they are providing little in the way of alternatives. Also, while I was not aware that Zeno had plowed this field (without the benefit of relativity) long before String theory started dreaming up holograms, I'd point out that it's really a continuation of the Greek mistakes, rather than mine (Ha! bet you didn't see that coming).

Anyway, today we'll talk more about expansion and why it appears to occur outside of gravity wells when you would expect just the opposite (from the big bang).  This "suggests" that spatial expansion at the time of the big bang must have been something very special.  It further suggests that some "rate" must have been present in high concentrations of space that is not present today where there are high concentrations of space that have accumulated into matter (where c1 has gone from zero to positive number).  This suggests that energy can exist within rate change (where c1 is zero) but matter cannot.  Or it suggests the opposite, space can be created in the presence of energy (which it surely is given the fact that energy travels through space being created) but space is not created in the presence of linear clock time!

Those of you who actually follow this (probably no one) have just fallen out of your chairs.  Everyone else is probably scoffing up your lunch.

First, under NLT theory, there is no space and hence the expansion of the universe into something that makes no sense (some other dimension, some unspace like material, etc) is irrelevant, wrong and in the words of Zeno, an illusion. Likewise, the so-called acceleration of the universe is merely dimensions coordinates changing in favor (or over) conserved clock time.  However the increased amount of space (which is linear time) must either be an expansion of space or the creation of additional quantum space and if there is conservation, then some other quantum elements must be exchanged.  Of course, this makes traditional questions of dark energy irrelevant and dank matter can be reflected as nothing more than space itself which in this theory is a diluted (by c^2) form of energy and has mass related to its tendency to return to non-linear forms.

As the volume of the universe changes, the amount of change of the space coordinates and the rate of creation of quantum space (if such in fact occurs) can be calculated with a surprising amount of accuracy for an estimation.

The exact change rate, is much more complicated because every point on earth is changing relative to the spin of the earth, the spin of the solar system, the spin of the galaxy and the spin of the universe itself so it is not a clear or linear expansion matrix.  Also the speed with which something spins would affect the overall rate of change.  However, with conservation issues, these rates are not changing, the only metric of the matrix which is changing on a gross scale is volume, the other coordinate changes being more or less constant.  Hence we can "measure" the change of volume and we should find this to reflect the other constants, but we're not giving anything away.

If you look at the universe as an "expanding" universe, what all the other methodologies require, light doesn't get to travel straight because it is also affected by this expansion.  But if the universe is based on changing coordinates, and the creation of additional space with new coordinates, it is more like filling a container. And movement of everything, even light, is a function of changing coordinates as opposed o expanding space.  This means the movement of light in an expanding universe would be similar but act very differently than in existing models.  But in truth, if there is no distance, then the type of expansion we are discussing is only a change in coordinates.

Objects "drop out" of expansion when the coalesce, that is, there is enough gravity to prevent time from expanding linearly at the same rate.    This gradually increases with the concentration of gravity until it stops being linear at all and the coordinates cease to change.  Yet time coordinates change for black holes until they leave the universe.  The theory, in NLT today, is that the observed portion of the black hole is the information before it has actually dropped out of the universe which is part of the equation 1/(1-x) as x approaches 1 which happens not at all in our time frame, but is a function of quantum gravity.

The increase of expansion which gives so much strangeness (relativity) is not as critical as if expansion is only an illusion (which doesn't make it any less important) since the speed of light controls rate change and relative coordinate change can happen without reference to distance (see the discussion as to "where" black holes go earlier in NLT theory). 7x10^-7m/s^2 is hubble acceleration which is observed.

http://essayweb.net/astronomy/sizeofuniverse.shtml defines the dimension
The universe doubles in size of universe in 11.4 billion years at an accelerating rate and these entries, including the next one, will explain several methodologies which not only allow for this but provide post linearity explanations for this which are absent from physics which does not provide for Einsteinian pre-universe/pre-time physics..

Traveling Alone 2500 years ago and today Part 9-Me and Gogh

I'm not really saying that Cervantes and Vincent Van Gogh have anything in common anymore than anyone else, certainly not from a talent standpoint.  I'm not sure about Cervantes, but I can't draw a straight line with a ruler.
But I'm traveling alone tonight and that makes one philosophize.  Before I get off the subject and talk about the origins of philosophies and those of Zeno, those of the stoics (I'm definitely not a stoic), I want to just talk about a basic point.  The stoics will have to wait for a later post.
Traveling and traveling alone is one of the most free experiences you can have.  Even in ancient days, a slave traveling alone would be, for the moment, as free as anyone else.  We all have our crosses to carry with us, even traveling alone, and we all have those who we have to answer to, at least those of you who have the pleasure of being able to talk to the one we want to answer to.  But when you are alone, and know you are alone and are traveling and not with anyone else, then at least you are free.  Maybe you'll have moments of misery, but they will be experienced when you are free, whether you recognize your freedom or not.
We were talking about Cervantes and Gogh.
Gogh was a mad genius artist, I only pretend to be mad, which may be enough.  Was Cervantes mad or did he just write about being mad.
Certainly we are all mad in our own way, listening to the voices in our heads, sometimes believing them, almost all of us answer them and they talk back.  Some of us have experienced some true madness, compliments of inner ear problems, perhaps, or moments of stress when our brain stem takes a lead role in our thoughts.
What I'm getting at here is that both Gogh and you use your different "arts" to express emotions pent up inside that force themselves out almost of their own volition.  Van Gogh's ended up being worth a lot, but that's the benefit of genius.
Madness seems to be related to the time of day, what's happening in your life, and a certain pre-disposition towards being mad.  And when you are alone, when you are traveling alone, you have time to reflect, too much time to reflect on things perhaps and you are a little more mad.
But you are also free, a slave to all of your doubts, mistakes, and lost opportunities, but free nevertheless.

Traveling alone 2500 years ago and today-Greek government and China's weaponized economy Part 1

Defining the right form of government is part of China's Weaponized Economy, but since Zeno's idea was raised, I think I'll put it in both places, a continuing overlap.
Before I get on to government, it is odd that Zeno was a philosopher who discussed both politics and fundamental physics where I am a hack who apparently does the same thing.  But I did not know about Zeno when I started writing about fundamental physics and I did not know about Zeno writing about politics even after that till I was traveling.
So let's start with the world of Zeno.  Democracy, the importance of the individual was being reborn after civilization had created slavery.  Government of a free people would slowly evolve into the Republic in Rome which for a short period of time would flourish into a golden age that would last less than 100 years and be followed first by dictatorship and then civil war that would destroy the Roman empire and Zeno's dream of a world government.
Of course Zeno wasn't the only Greek to look this way.  Alexander the Great sought in his own drunken way to bring the world under a single government and may have succeeded if he drank less and lived longer. Zeno philosophized, the drunk acted.  If you think that reading all this about Greek is difficult for me, you would be right, but I have my share of problems and you have yours.
And I'm not going to fully research what Zeno wanted, that's Zeno's thing, at least for the moment.  Zeno saw one world government, one political party.  I think a time may come where that would work, but this is not what I believe will work unless we can refine government a great deal more.
The lesson of our own government, increasingly ineffective and corrupt as the republic become more centralized.
The lesson of local and world government  is that the people suffer as things go from a balanced power to a centralized government and that everyone who isn't represented in government ends up being enslaved.  So what does this tell us about what the right form of a world government should look like?  That will be part 2.

what does the future hold

would we grow old listening
to a prairie home companion
or do we change our ears to wit
and try to stay young together

together is the key word
and would should be will
because i cannot imagine
listening to anything apart

how do we join in the future
when there is so much past
when the barriers between
have been built so strong

the answer lies is who we are
and who we are not
we are not separate people
we are one person separated

the walls we see before us
are really doorways
for when we're together
they fade like mirages

opening when we touch
the separation vanished
replaced by a unity
of spirit, value and identity

non linear time expansion part 2

However, this explanation will get even more interesting before we stop this entry before moving on to the next one.  But first, let's divert for two paragraphs.

Before we continue down this path, let's go back to why space expands and why it doesn't.  What are the parameters?  First, let's look at what is happening.  why doesn't expansion occur (at least not in large observable quantities to offset gravity) occur in the presence of the concentration of matter.  While we could just say, gravity pulls everything towards non-linearity, that would be missing the most interesting feature of non-linear time theory.  And we will point that out and then end this blog entry:

Something starts (clock time 1) when energy (e) turns into matter.  This implies that something (clock time 2) starts when space turns into energy.  And this, in turn implies that something (clock time 3) starts when non-linear time goes linear.  If this is the case, there should be features of each of these clock times and in fact we can say they do exist in one of two embodiments:
1) Each dimension we experience is merely movement along one of the 3 clock times or
2) The other two clock times function apart (like other dimensions as discussed before) or
3) We experience all 3 clock times but do not realize it, they all appear to be our single clock time.

Now clock times should have the same conservation elements that we experience with dimension, so it is likely that clock times and dimensional changes are the same.  It is even possible that a higher state than matter exists where a 4th clock time starts.  So let's cover this in terms of creation of the universe and subsequent expansion.

1) Non-linear Time.  No clock times are linear, everything happens at once.
2) CT(3) goes linear.  We have the predecessor universe where most fundamental physicists begin to speculate on what the universe is.  It is one dimensional and everything is concentrated in a single point, but it is linear.  Space can now form, but is so concentrated that the space can actually convert to energy.
3)  CT(2) goes linear and we have the expansion of of the universe, energy forms from space.
4) CT(1) goes linear and matter forms from concentrations of energy.

Even the shape of our universe can be explained by this process which first provides a two dimensional framework and then a three dimensional framework for expansion as well as providing a basis for unified forces (see prior entries for the explanation), quantum gravity, a basis for quantum versus linear creation, and forces for dark energy and matter based on the tendency of time to become non linear being reflected in gravity.

During each step of the creation of linearity in our universe, gravity is created, but is more concentrated.  The tendency to return to non-linearity and in certain concentrations apparently succeeds.  Clock time going linear allows dimensional time to become more concentrated.  This is expected in terms of conservation of change, conservation of time and dimension.

It is observed that in the presence of ct(1) and possibly ct(2) space cannot be created.  Outside the presence of ct1 and ct2, space is created.

In the presence of c1 and ct2 the appearance of matter and energy exist by virtue of the constant change of coordinates.  Space both existing and new space exist by virtue of the constant change of coordinates.

Note that while multiple clock times are specified, it is equally likely that each change in linearity is a function of a single clock time with multiple dimensions since time and dimensions appear to be conserved.

But more on this in the next entry.

non linear time expansion part 1

Somehow you have to explain what happens to create space between areas of space affected by expansion of the universe.   This isn't a problem in gravity wells, that is places where there is no universal expansion because of the presence of matter and energy.
Under NLT, then, something different "appears" to be happening the the absence of matter.  Whether this appearance is the result of the creation of time or is false is the subject of this inquiry.
First, we'll talk in generalities and in later parts we will get more specific.

Non-linear time theory seeks to trumps the other theories of fundamental physics.  This isn't because it is different, deriving as it does from hologram theory and one of Einstein's insights.  And of course, it was trumped in advance 2500 years ago by Zeno who laid the groundwork for both non-linear time and hologram theory even though he was largely lost to the future and we'll discuss critically his one world government in a later blog time permitting.

Still, physicists have a habit of clinging to their theories until, totally dead, they are suddenly resurrected and made new again by the very increases in science which sought to kill them.  For now, however, they are slowly being folded into non-linear time theory like the human detritus of a mathematical shipwreck in an ocean of whatever analogy makes the most sense.

Sadly, this hesitance hesitance to change, however historically supported, delays breakthroughs in practical application of physics unnecessarily, but we'll discuss the irrationality of man in other blogs on how governments and lovers should function.

Anyway, today we'll start the discussion of the rate of change at each level of the universe development (starting just before the big bang when time was linear, but the universe was, at least mostly, non-linear).
Solving for time is the key elements and involves:
1) taking matter and defining it in terms of coordinate change and gravity
2) Taking gravity and solving it in terms of time
3) Taking space and determining why, if it is only a manifestation of time why it either (1) appears to be expanding or (2) is expanding at an ever increasing rate.

Note that NLT eliminates the need for either dark matter or dark energy while providing potential explanations for each.  A summary would take to long, but by way of example, if gravity is the tendency of time to go non-linear (which clearly appears the case) then if space is non-linear time, there is plenty of that to account for background gravity.  Further, if there is expansion, that involves additional time going non-linear which would power expansion.  This, if the given explanation of "dark matter" was correct would mean either (1) there is a constant increase in the amount of gravity corresponding to the amount of space being created, (2) the creation of space doesn't add gravity (that is you have to lose something else for gravity to be created such as clock time 2 (ct2) or (3) you have expansion of space at the destruction of something else-the most likely explanation, the destruction being the destruction (going non-linear) of matter and energy in black holes, for example.

In item 3, you end up with endless possibilities (recycling) but you have this fundamental question:  If this is what is happening, why does the expansion happen only outside of gravity wells where the destruction occurs?  Geographically (space matrix geography) isn't a problem since NLT says that where something is located is only a matter of its coordinates and black holes have dropped completely out of coordinate space.  Likewise, quantity is not an issue since the transition of energy (not to mention matter) to space creates space on the magnitude of c^2 at the very least in all probability (lots of space created for a small amount of energy).  But what is it absent in "concentrated gravity wells" (planets, solar systems, galaxies and galaxy families) but not absent in the "greater unconcentrated gravity well" of the universe itself?  Why, the question becomes, does space only expand in the emptiest parts of space?

The answer may lie in the fact that we don't have a "coordinate" vacuum (i.e. nothing) in the center of the universe where we'd expect one to form if space has coordinate changes (which it certainly must or we'd really have a mess, everything coalescing together as it spun free from space) or between galaxy clusters where expansion appears to occur.  This appearance should be predicted in the creation of space (from energy or otherwise)since otherwise we'd have a very dense, non-linear universe, the same type we had immediately before there were coordinate changes in dimension, i.e. the big "she-bang"

As the volume of the universe changes, the amount of change of the space coordinates and the rate of creation of quantum space (if such in fact occurs) can be calculated with a surprising amount of accuracy for an estimation.  We merely take the age of the universe (13.5 billion years) and divide it into the size of the universe.

But how this occurs is a more involved inquiry.   The first "expansion" involved non-linear time going linear creating first space (all of space in a concentrated plank length) and then energy being created (based on the destruction of space at the rate of c^2) along with rapid coordinate change giving the impression (continuing today outside of gravity wells) of faster than light travel by faster than light coordinate changes (which proves instantaneous movement is possible, however much you may question it, IF you accept NLT and this conceptual framework) which in turn involved concentrations of energy due to falling back into non-linearity in part-gravity, into matter (again at the rate of c^2).  The second "expansion" seems to be based on the process going in reverse, but only in isolated pockets which then go non-linear again; which, as discussed previously, appears to happen in black holes where energy is put out in quantities approximately (but not completely) equal to the amount of matter and energy going in; the difference being what we'd expect to find in the expansion of space.

While you are probably wondering why you read this far, we must have the creation of space in NLT today if it occurred earlier and we should have conservation of space, time and energy according to our theories of the quantum nature of things, although we have at least touched on the possibility of a pulsating singularity creating the universe and pumping additional space out at a constant rate which, of course, would take us back to an increasingly heavy universe or a universe without non-linear space.  Why should we have it today?  First, there is no reason for it not to happen, Second, we need it to explain the expanding universe (you need a larger grid if you're taking concentrated coordinates and turning them into spread out coordinates based on the speed of light).

But more on this later.

The love option

Assume betrayal and you'll be safe
From ever being tricked
Assume ulterior motives
and you will avoid surprises
Why should you assume love
when it isn't the easiest
or the safest or most likely
Why but that we choose hope
Even when it seems all is lost
Without hope there is no life
Without love it's not worth living
So consider carefully the options
And assume love when you can
assume love if you can with me
or assume love without me

Traveling alone 2500 years ago vs today part 8

The god nemesis is the god of revenge.  That's interestingly Greek, a god dedicated to revenge.

You would hope that you could have that particular thing shared, but apparently the Greeks don't feel that way.  How do you pray to a god for revenge?  What do you sacrifice to the god of revenge?  Human sacrifice could be redundant.

The loss of the name nemesis is a big deal.  It would be a really good name, but how can you name someone Nemesis given the connotations?

The conqueror Alexander the Great marched under the banner of Nemesis.
Like the Asians before him, he had to largely walk his army to the fabled cities of Egypt, to Babylon and the
castles of Persia.  He would never return alive.

Today, you would probably take a plane, and pass over everything that would change your mind about the comparison of Greece and Asia.  But perhaps the important part of this has to do with what makes parts of the world great and the effect of distance on the two.

Greece was rich because it was at the center between east and west. Today, the center of the conflict between the east and west, strangely, is between the USA and China.  The increase in speed has led to an loss of dimensional requirements.  The nature of this war itself has changed, but apparently it's been going on for 2500 years.

Europe and the middle east remain in the middle of everything, strangely or not, although the nature of that war has changed, although that involves a more familiar part of war.  The two are connected in many ways.  Afghanistan is known as the graveyard of empires, and the poorly thought out adventure of the Bush II presidency created the type of conflict that may have distracted our government enough to allow this to happen.  How much of that in connected and how much is coincidence is something to think about.

But I'm getting my trains of thought on the same track, sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

China's weaponized economy-how peacetime economic war will translate to the projection of actual military force

http://touch.latimes.com/#story/la-fg-wn-davos-japan-china-militancy-20140122/

Eventually the pressure to use superior weapons wins out.  The world no matter how broad, is not big enough without the neighbor's resources.

While the use of atomic weapons is too dangerous for most of us to consider today, in World War II the temptation was too great.

This is true about traditional military power.  The desire to use it seems to be a function of power.  Even were China unwilling to exercise their power (Sun Tzu's primary instruction is (half of it) appear weak when you're strong) it would manifest itself as if it had a life of its own.

China has reached the point in the weaponized economy, their primary weapon-idiot politicians in the west don't see this, is strong that it doesn't even matter if they begin to use the consequent military power; but they would not want the west to realize this.  So why are they being increasingly militant?  It's because they don't think it possible that the USA government can react.  They are so certain that the US is incapable of acting intelligent politically and so incapable of looking at any future past a very near term, they feel they can do this.

And why do they appear correct?  Clearly congress cannot even do a budget for more than a few months at a time, they cannot appoint judges to their courts, they cannot get past purely ethical concepts and focus on governing.

There are solutions to this, the application of intelligence terms to legislation and term limits and these are discussed in detail and as time goes forward, will be discussed in more detail here.  The need for this and the futility of it are increasing exponentially.  Stability in a world as fragile as ours is critical.  There are two ways to reach stability.  One is to surrender to the Chinese, a world with is Chinese is the result.  The other is to balance power between countries intelligent enough to live together.  The latter isn't possible today.  The USA is the country devoid of political intelligence.  The pieces are there, an almost Roman republican constitution.  But like the Roman republic, ours is no longer a republic.  A process that began in the 1800s has emasculated the power of the states and until that is re-established and the Federal government forced to act intelligently with reforms and concepts we will continue to see a country that can be attacked without even consciousness of the war, almost unimaginable, and yet we see it every day, hence the links included in each of these posts.

written vs typed

True love cannot be typed
it has to be expressed
in hand written letters
but that doesn't mean
that it doesn't exist
the moment doesn't pass
when loves claws don't
rake furrows in souls
when i do not quake
at all those mistakes
which separate me
wrong turns to wrong places
knowing where love was
but not going to it
unwilling to sacrifice
everything for eternity
knowing what love is
completion of two people
who are able to find it
rejecting it carelessly
tearing out my own heart
ensuring my own madness
reaching out to the past
grasping for lost love
without saying save me
again
killing it agonizing slowly
as it drags me with it
into a lonesome grave
yelling up to the light
why can't i reach you
and hearing my echo

China's weaponized economy-Lenovo and IBM as the story of World War C and the definition of Chinese Profit

http://mobile.nytimes.com/blogs/dealbook/2014/01/23/lenovo-buys-ibm-server-business-for-2-3-billion/

The story of IBM and Lenovo mirror the story of our government losing the war with China's WEaponized Economy.  The Chinese studied back to Sun Tzu the art of defeating your enemy using their own weight against them.  Even their forms of self defense reflect this.  But this is not about Ju Jit Su; it is about a newer type of warfare that has certainly been used in the past, but always before in the context of a shooting war.  The brilliant, critical innovation of the Chinese government was to recognize how poorly focused and corrupt the US government was and how ignorant and incapable of learning they were.  In this way they were able to take this critical bit of warfare, perhaps the most critical, and move it from a war time (shooting war) environment to a peacetime environment.

Our government is focused on a very small picture, pandering to special interests to stay in power.  Perhaps I am too fixated, but it is one reason the ancient Greek lottery system of providing a house of government appeals to me) by pursuing interests that have little or nothing to do with the basic functions of government (e.g. how to control reproductive rights-with no focus on population development, but only for the sake of artificial moralities of either side; determining fiscal policy based on pandering and not on future needs, designing warfare based on the last war, not the next one a historical recipe for disaster which seems to be repeated by everyone except for the Chinese who are truly already fighting the next war successfully since they are fighting it without any defense by those on the other side)

Lenovo started as a manufacturing arm, located in China to make parts for computers for IBM laptops.  They soon were "spun off" to the Chinese as an "unprofitable" arm.  It was unprofitable because the profits were all "Chinese Profits", they benefited the workers of Lenovo and the transfer of laptop technology from the USA to China using cheaper assembly lines.  Lenovo continued to prosper based on these Chinese Profits, despite overwhelming competition, because the competition did not affect this techology/manufacturing bottom line which was a profit no matter what.  And what did it matter, we still had the large server technology...for a moment.  Years passed, but what do years matter to a group like China that are capable of thinking distantly into the future at least in this respect (they are willing to sacrifice the world environment for world domination and the USA assists them, "exporting pollution" as if pollution were being sent to another planet instead of upstream in our own.

Now, we find the "hardware" Server business going to China.  This move will be accompanied with the standard promise that some of the jobs will be kept here even while many of them have already been exported in terms of the assembly/manfacturing/hardware innovation opportunities, the "Chinese Profit".  THis "creeping movement" of the "Chinese Profit" will inevitably be accompanied with real profits.  Workers are paid either way, this way their pay goes into overseas coffers.  Fewer jobs, fewer high tech jobs exist today than existed yesterday in the USA, more have been created overseas.  One level of technology to the other, each transferred in stages, taking more and more of the Chinese Profits weakening the USA technologically a little further, giving the USA less control of its technologies first by outsourcing some of the work, then by taking the actual companies overseas.

Traveling alone-2500 years ago and today Part 7

I've been trying to figure out how some of the more important control keys were designated and why I always come up with things i want to add to poetry after its writen.
Control V is to paste, control p will just print.
Control A is to select all
Control Z is to undo.  It should have something to do with zombies.  Perhaps it does.  Electronic zombies come to take out whatever you have added.
Control c is to copy
You can change these commands, but why would you unless you are an anarchist.

I think love is like a string.  You test it severely enough and it breaks.  But I also wonder if it isn't more like time, where no matter how you pull it, it seems to stay the same.  Maybe one day, this will be a poem and will discuss it in more depth.  Is it something you should escape, letting it drag you back till one day it breaks and you are suddenly free?  Is it a slower process, something that stretches and stretches till it loses all of its appearance, but never totally breaking?

Traveling should give you time and you should not rush through travel.  Modern technology destroys the advantages of travel in so many ways in favor of getting you to the end.  The analogy is with life.  Getting there is not what matters since "there" is an end and nothing, at least to all appearances.  All that matters in the end is how you get to the end and who you travel with.

The thoughts that come to you when you are traveling applied equally 2500 years ago and today, only the speed at which they happen changes.

In olden times, there was a measure we've all seen (and we still see in Don Quixote) known as the league, defined as "approximately 3 miles".  Today, that distance would be but the passing of a thought.  But walking at a slow pace, it might take an hour.  There is talk of an Inn a league in the distance.  At dusk this might result in arriving after the sun goes down.  Driving it would be indicated by a sign, exit in 3 miles, telling you to prepare with all dispatch for this event.
The person on the mule, would have a great deal of time to think about his arrival in the same league that today calls for immediate preparation.
Perhaps self government and the initial success of the city states had to do with these type of distance issues.  The inability and lack of need to consider what lay beyond a league or two.  But how wealthy in knowledge would someone have who had the chance to travel outside of his own world with the time to consider what passed by him at the speed of 2500 years ago.  And would he come to the same conclusion as I do today, that how you travel and who you are with are the only things that matter, and not the destination and did travelers 2500 years ago wonder why they were not traveling better and with someone who was not there?

China's Weaponized Economy-paying back the national debt with fiat dollars

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/22/us-debt-ceiling_n_4646696.html

As has been written before, the US dollar will lose its trading status.  It will pass to the manufacturing center, established by the US government in China.  Our government will transfer our ability to control commerce and the value of our economy to the country we probably consider our biggest enemy.

Why are they doing this?  First, they are too corrupt to govern effectively. Their entire focus is on maintaining power and to do so they are increasingly focused on emotional issues and not on the logic of government.

Second, they refuse to admit that the Chinese are so much ahead of us that they realized they could weaponize their economy.  Our government is so narrow minded that they are unwilling to consider that they are at war unless weapons are being discharged in their direction.  The Chinese have figured out that the discharge of weapons is not only completely unnecessary, but a waste of resources.  They know to take jobs by offering artificially low labor costs and subsidizing and keeping their currency devalued leaving their enemy, in this case the west, defenseless.

Third, we let them.  We are addicted to cheap goods.  We are using our built up equity, going into debt, in order to fund a binge of largesse.  We develop, make money and then export everything we've created for a quick fix dollars.

What is the outcome?  First, the huge debt at every level of government and down to the population will eventually come due.  The dollar is already quickly losing its value and there will be neither jobs (which are all going to china) for the desperate poor nor money from the government to help them.  The rest of the world will turn to China for leadership and the US will become a raw material supplier so that the corrupt in government can continue to doll out whatever it is.  They will become increasingly authoritarian to hold onto their power and pander increasingly to those who are dependent upon them increasing the death spiral we are already in.

This is not just doom and gloom because there are solutions.  One I am beginning to thing may make sense is to have part of the government, perhaps one of the senators from each state, its a greek thing, although we'd have to select them with some sort of criteria.  The absurd idea that anyone can govern is almost as absurd as that only some can govern which is our current system, an artificially constructed oligarchy around those who can lie the best.

And there are other solutions.

Traveling alone-2500 years ago and today Part 6: the 30 mile rule

It's been written (in 2500 years of...) that Jesus himself for all his trials and tribulations only traveled within a 30 mile radius in his lifetime (ignoring the trip from Heaven to Earth, I presume which is no distance at all according to Non linear time theory, but that is another story, this is the story of traveling on earth).

One thing which I have failed to cover extensively, is how much of the distance he traveled alone as opposed to with an entourage.  The reason is that I haven't had time and I'm pretty sure I never will.  But this is important.  Time alone, enough to go mad, may be the key to finding oneself.  How many stories of self discovery do not have an element of traveling alone.

Moses went out in the desert, mad enough to see a bush burning without being consumed.  Jesus traveled alone till his entourage showed up.  So did Siddhartha.  Travel, time alone, madness or near madness are all requirements for enlightenment.

I have stopped traveling for a moment, but will soon resume and Part 7, along with its own brand of madness, will come of its own accord whether it's already written or not.

China's Weaponized Economy-The truthification of a warfare technique and the end of the United States Economy

I don't want to write about this anymore.  Fundamental physics could take up all of my time, not to mention fiction.  Three recent article and the blindness of our government, indeed the corruption of our government compels me to point out what you could have read about years ago when CWE and the predecessor (now World War C) were first written.

The fundamental premises is that by using their economy as a weapon, the chinese are systematically taking all manufacturing from which will follow all innovation and the value of the currency.  IT also deals with why our government cannot respond and provides a number of potential solutions.  The truth is that I don't know why I bother.  Yes, the US can probably still be saved if we act immediately, but I think the Chinese are the only ones with enough focus (the US intelligence is too corrupted by corruption) to appreciate what is happening.

The three articles will be discussed in detail.  The one today was an article on Lenovo buying another chunck (servers) of IBM's business.  They already too the laptop business giving fiat dollars (US currency) for those.  The second is an article about Japan's PM talking about the increased aggressiveness of China...as a military power.  They are so missing the boat, but the military will certainly follow.  The final is a fascinating piece on the transfer from the American to the Chinese Dollar (The yuan) as international currency pointing out that the average term for a currency (85 years) is about how long the US dollar has served.

Our government is too corrupt to help us, but what they can do is hire people to study the weaponized economies of the past (China's now, that of the US and other countries in WWII and other situations where they were marshalled although none of the past rose to the level of China's which was purely weaponized to the point of sacrificing their own environment to defeat the USA).  It would include studying how the establishment of the US currency as the medium of trade undermined its value after 85 years (and all the other countries that were similarly established) and how to increase manufacturing here based on a wartime footing as opposed to quasi-Kensyan economics.

It's really not fair, I have better things to do...or at least things I'd rather do.

Non-linear time invites string theory and loop quantum gravity to sit down and have tea

It is, perhaps inevitable that any current theory of fundamental physics will eventually come back to Non-Linear Time theory for convergence with other, apparently opposing theories and so it is with some smugness that I find a place to join String Theory and Loop Quantum Gravity Theory together over the concepts of space metrics, which they are both bound to and which almost by definition Non-Linear Time theory is free of.
These two theories are working backward from our space to Non-linear time which is why they have failed to arrive.  Non-linear time, thanks to Einstein, works from non-linear time outward.  Granted, it required String Hologram theory to give it a start outward, in the end the whole concept of a universe based on conserved coordinate change becomes inevitable and the only decent explanation for things, so far.
The universe makes absolutely no sense.  Now this isn't just because the universe is naturally non-nonsensical, pointless that is.  Instead it is because there is no earthly (or unearthly) reasons for anything to exist.  Traditional physics sort of shrugs its shoulders and digs downward.  We'll find it somewhere, they say with their confusing dimensions and their correct theory of quantum gravity without understanding why.
This does not good at all for explaining what anything would exist.  You might as well go to the biblical idea of creation (surprisingly well supported by non-linear time theory, but not because of any intent in that direction).
So why is NLT so much better?  Does it give a "reason for the universe"?  No.  No you shout!  But you said the problem with all the other theories is that they give no reason for the purpose of the universe.  But of course, you would say that.  You're trying to work backwards.  NLT works outward from a place without dimension or time; at least it is non-linear.  It is, in Einstein's opinion, a place where everything happens at once and NLT allows a single non-linear "it" to have the ability to create the universe and this is further supported by the conservation of change since if you have one "thing" (ok, some of you can call it god or a god non-particle (particles have dimension)) creating all of time and space.
Furthering this answer, the answer to why the universe exists is that...it doesn't.  It's a manifestation of something where there is no dimension or time.  The analogy (made previously) is to information on a hard disk.  This information exists all at once (A bow to Einstein) but its display can be randomized or in some predestined way.  However...It doesn't exist for purpose of display until the coordinates change to display it.  It is very suggestive of the model of NLT and suggests a digital framework (without time or space) somehow stored in this god-non particle.
Anyway, the key to this discussion, is that you join String theory and quantum gravity theory together here because you get to jump from their inability to square with the space matrix to a theory which explains away the spacetime matrix in its entirety.
Thank you very much, what will you have with your tea?

reasons for me, reasons for you

is it possible that there is any reason
for the universe
other than the chance for you and i
to get together
have i lived the last 30 years
in love with you
because there is something wrong
with me or you
And will the universe inevitably end
and be no more
When we have at last given up
every chance
to spend the rest of our lives
doing what
we were born to do together
or is it apart
we will find peace, industry, love
or is life
really as meaningless as it appears
without you

Traveling Alone 2500 years ago and today Part 5: Subsection on Projects

Traveling is a time for coming up with things to do, not a time to do them.  You make notes that are used for the future.  Some people have multiple homes, right now I feel like I have no home which is an insult to the homeless people that I'm supposed to be representing.

I am not, however, someone without a project.  I need my next writing project that is not editing, true, but I have no less than 3 second editions to do.  I have work, as much as one person should have, I'd think.  There are challenges enough in my life without going out looking for them.  There are roads enough for me without my having to go out on one and travel it.

My creativity issue.  Some people have to be doing something to prove their worth, they are not mature enough or have not found themselves enough or are not spiritual enough to be content with whatever it is that they are otherwise fulfilled by.

I am neither mature, content, nor particularly spiritual.  I believe in something bigger than myself, but I seem to have written God into some sort of mathematical black box which is no less a mystery than he was before (she, it, what have you) but requires me to decide how spiritual that whole logical attempt mess should be.

I am everything a person should not be.  Discontented, immature and of uncertain belief.  In short, it would only take a stiff breeze to set me completely off course, but for the fact that there is no course before me at all.

I think I will write an updated version of Don Quixote.  Oddly, the short story "The secret life of Walter Middy" is a milk toast version of Don Quixote.  Perhaps everything is a milk toast version of DQ.  Which is another way of saying perhaps we are all mad, we are all looking for an inn where we can sit together and drink Spanish wine and tell our stories and listen to those told by others.

Traveling alone 2500 years ago and today-part 4

One of those things that strikes me as I write this down, concerns the fact that 2500 years ago it would have been more difficult to compare these two types of travel, although the book in reference points out that much of the history is lost, the future is far more difficult to predict with certainty.

However, even from our perch above the past, the book recalls the story experienced by the author about a lost city, visible in ruins, where the locals no longer no its history, its people and their history having been erased from the local lexicon.

What I was saying when we started this visit was that the conflict between East and West largely takes place in what we would call ancient greece and involving greece and persia.  It is particularly interesting that the greek historian Herodotus apparently was in occupied greece (by persia) during the formative years, if not when he wrote his histories (I need to listen to that section again) and I wonder if the same might not be true of Zeno.

This in turn leads to the observation that Titantic struggles often give rise to the greatest creativity.  Art without suffering is like candy without sweetener; it's something else.  Wasn't it Hemingway  who said you had to live through war to write?

Speaking of Titanic, it turns out that Syrus was the first person to use the phrase "I am King of the World" later used by Dicaprio's character in that movie.  I wonder if this was an intentional alliteration for the ultra sophisticated or perhaps just (accidental?) plagiarism.

And speaking of firsts, it turns out the oldest drama known in any language was "The Persians" [In case you are interested:http://classics.mit.edu/Aeschylus/persians.html] by Aeschylus  (why on earth did they need to spell their names like this, or is this just a single letter in that alphabet which looks so strange to western eyes and is so beloved by mathematicians and physicists?) who, it would gratify Hemingway, was the survivor of Salamis (480BC) the greatest known naval battle of the ancient world where the greeks defeated the namesake Persians.

How complicated it must be to write of an enemy so powerful and so close, and yet writers have a type of immunity that comes from their craft.  I have no hesitation to point out we are at war with China (even though we don't know it) even as I look to China myself for so much, it having been abandoned so completely in our own country.  I'll post a blog on the theft of our currency through a change in the world standard (predicted in China's weaponized economy) which was facinating, having been written by someone else who was much smarter than I and who points out that the average term for a currency to be the world standard over the last few hundred years is only 85 years, a term our currency is approaching and a clear indicator to future leaders, perhaps the Chinese, that the weaknesses of a strong currency must be measured against its strenghts.  It is, however, getting back to the subject at hand, no wonder that the persians are not more villified, because Herodotus must have closely experienced the good and bad of their rule growing up, perhaps with a touch of  nostalgia and Aeschylus with a touch of respect from an adversary.

All this talk of Greeks and Greece, however, is exhausting me and reminds me that suffering comes in as many forms as candy, and then more and I am not particularly fond of suffering or candy.  And this post has to get back to the topic at hand.

Why you

Why do you invade my fantasies
I mind my own business
I ignore you during the day
at night I look for someone else
but still you are there
though we never needed fanatasy
so why do you do it
when i do so little to you
you should leave me alone
how do i get you out of my dreams
isn't the daylight enough for you
standing in front of everyone else
so i have to peer through you
in order to see the road before me
Why you and not anyone else

Traveling 2500 years ago and today-Part 3

Times change.
While driving I was listening to Troy University's version of NPR and was introduced to the successor to The Prairie Home Companion, a radio companion which I hold onto nostalgically.  However, the new version "WIT" is definitely trendier.  To quote a comedian on the program, they used words like "Super-dup". Oh, but if I could only convey it in context, you could share my smile.  Hip, trendy, with musicians like Tao Wynne (phonetic, not actual spelling) and a much younger version of Keller (Keeler?).  Whoever, I'll need to edit my blog to get the names right.  It is a delight or, better phrased, "Super-dup".

The image of an owl crossing the road at that transition time between dusk and night is one of the many things that I remember seeing on this trip, just as in a prior trip, I remember driving a hundred miles out of my way to see a mountain of sand which had somehow been deposited over time, which was too tall to climb all the way to the top at dusk.  At 50 feet above the rocky, almost impassible road bed, with the sun going down, looking out over the car, not at it, at the incredible barren waste that surrounded this remarkable mountain of sand; the "side-trip" out of the way turned out to be worth it, a moment of zen.

But where were we?  Ah yes, Traveling 2500 years ago and today.  We'll get back to that shortly.

Non-linear time theory: The commitment to finite possibilities-more nodding toother physicists Part II as it were

Non-holographic theories allow for possibilities.  Even E-H-T allows that a certain amount of freedom of choice is inherent in a predestined universe since whoever set up the "film" in String theory or the "everything at once without dimension or time as we experience it" in EHT must have had some choice.
Remember that it is "logical" as well in EHT that consciousness gives rise to linearity and consciousness is somehow like having the ability to act.

Since we're discussing the Stanford article, let's look at some similar thinking.
They talk of "Spacetime" as "emergent".  They go so far as to describe it as a "continuous structure with continuous symmetries...emerge from a fundamentally discrete structure." (citing Butterfield and Isham, 1999 and 2001).
In effect, they have discovered (moving backwards from a different direction) non-linear time.  The fact that they fail to recognize it specifically, is more a matter of symantics than anything else.  They are coming from the direction of quantum gravity and it has long been clear in E-H-T and N-L-T that gravity is a function of time going from non-linear to linear and that gravity is the force generated by the conversion of NLT to space which in turn is a function of changing time coordinates.

Amusingly, the approach that questions the nature of "gravitational fields of stationary quantum states" is irrelevant in NLT since you would not, in our universe, have a stationary Q-S and if you had it, there would be no gravity since gravity is a function of linearity which presupposes (1) change and (2) a conservation of change equation.

The issue of whether this allows for probabilities or certainties is both critical and a violation of prior theories.  It is an examination of non-linear time and a decision as to whether Einstein was right or wrong or perhaps the possibility that he was both.
Multiple dimensions as such have very little to do with EHT, but the possibility of multiple "clock times" associated with a single quantum change in non-linear time does appear to be at least mathematically possible We'd never experience these since we are separated from an instant, but they would act on the exact same quantum and they might as well be separate dimensions.  More likely, since a single NLT quanta could create and maintain the entire universe, it could also maintain an infinite number of other universes created exactly the same way but allow for minor variations although how or why this occurs requires a lengthier discussion.

The question of what happens at this point just below Planck length (or Planck length divided by the speed of light squared if you want to look at a further examination of the conversion of energy to space and space to non-linear time as a successive possibility).  In NLT, the arguments favoring Planck length as a fundamental conceptual distance have less to do with the Gravitational component (which merely reflects the fact that gravity exists as time goes non-linear on a quantum scale) but instead derives from mass-energy equations and the possibility that these reflect space-energy conversion which in turn reflect NLT-space conversion.  The fact that in each case you would expect some sort of conservation and that conservation of time coordinate changes are observed throughout this conversion gives some credence to the minimal size arguments just as the creation of temporary black holes by collisions below Planck Length support the concept.

Hence, to property study space time, we need to avoid attempting (in NLT at least) looking at space "frozen" at some point in time.  If you were to do this, you would be studying NLT and not space since space does not exist except as a function of changing coordinates.  The better focus would be to determine what the coordinates are and how to manipulate them since that holds the secret to instantaneous travel and possibly even the manipulation of Non-Linear Time (assuming it is not preordained in some fashion that would prevent manipulation even from a platform where you understood it).

Traveling alone 2500 years ago and today Part 2

Don Quixote wasn't written 2500 years ago.  It was, however, written during the time when "the Moors" were at war with Europe.  There were also no trains, steam engine driven ships, cell phones (or any phones for that matter), BMW motorcycles, gasoline and only muskets and front loader short range canons.  So the stories of travel were very similar even though it takes the position that the concept of a "knight errant" was quaint.  There was also plenty of fantasy, writing and madness.

With this "military history" background in mind, when I went to get a book on tape to listen to as I drove in my self contained environment where the rain is only a reason to turn on windshield wipers (On a motorcycle you rely on wind speed to clear the view-an imperfect technique even in a light rain and, of course, you get wet); it was natural when my eyes fell on "The 2500 year old conflict between East and West" it would catch my eye.  It just so happened, that this also fell right into the time frame when Zeno wrote his Paradoxes.

For those of you who read regularly, you'll remember that Zeno lived around the time of the Persian Wars (490-479); perhaps coming into the time continuum at the tail end of that.  One of the early papers I wrote was on the Persian Wars and "The mad king" Xerxes who, when his bridge failed, whipped the river.  Another part of that writing was that in one of the battles they buried pottery to foil mounted infantry, hence the first use of land mines (in recorded history) and the term "pot holes" which, bizarrely dates back to Herodotus before they even had roads like ours and the ones Romans built.  I hope that the book on tape doesn't cover this later point which I believe to be my one great mining expedition in history, an event now lost to time due to my being an orphan with no one to collect the detritus of my early life.  Oh, but to have time to tell that story.

The madness of Xerxes predates the madness of Don Quixote which prevents Cervantes from being the first writer of madness on record.

Zeno, being the Godfather of Hologram theories and therefore Non-linear time theory may be my second favorite Greek even though we've never been formally introduced, at least not in Linear Time.

Anyway, the point of this is not to point out that everyone in road repair quotes Herodotus, although that point is worth making, it is to discuss 2500 years ago and today and that will come later.

non-linear time and planck length gravity and a nod to other physicists working in this area Part I

Planck length and Quantum Gravity and space in Non-Linear Time Theory-Quantum Time meets quantum gravity

In the Stanford paper on Quantum Gravity, “Gravity meets quantum theory” (predicted by NLT and EHT) a number of interesting questions are raised which are answered by NLT.  Sadly, I have not been able to present NLT to Stanford yet, probably because it would be like inviting a mongrel to a poodle show.

Now, I normally don't refer to leading institutional physicists as mongrels because I don't want to be skewered with questions I can't answer, but we know who is afraid of being scooped in this situation (and I assure all the physicists out there this paragraph is written in jest.)

Anyway, the funny thing is that in their discussion, they touch on many of the issues which were suggested and largely answered (by shifting all the weight onto non-linear time) in NLT theory and these are worth discussion.

There are several issues which require discussion which I will lay out, give a general framework for the discussion and then address as time allows:

Diffeomorphism invariance and relational observables.  It should be noted that relativity, a key element in any discussion of quantum time, is largely the study of “relative change” and NLT says that the ability to observe space (and therefore energy and matter) are functions of the change rates of the different features of time and that the very nature of the observed item (as space, energy or matter) is a function of what features are changing and which are not and the rate of speed with which they change in transition (e.g. matter becomes energy as clock time(1) goes to zero through rapid changes in dimensional coordinates through a “conservation of change” theory of NLT.

Probability and symetries-This refers to the “predictive” nature of the universe, discussed previously in several posts, particularly those related to Asimov.  Relationalism and substantivalism are less specifically addressed, but the mistake NLT suggests is that “space possibilities” are irrelevant because space is merely a creation of non-linear time and therefore is a quantum event capable of determination for any given quantum time.

Later this same concept is discussed in terms of the “super position principle and general relativity” and particularly general covariance which is threatened by their examination without NLT.

Differential manifolds as space or the failure of the same-spacetime is an emergent entity:  Well, this is as close as they get to defining quantum time in terms of quantum time.  The problem that these physicists have is that they are trying to work backwards.  This is why NLT is such a good predictor, because it comes from a different direction and reaches these same conclusions.  Later they refer to “dynamical, quantized spacetime” which is a good description of non-linear time since it necessarily is dynamic to be observed.  The problem continues to be recognizing an artificial difference between space and time when a careful examination (see above even in this document) shows that there is conservation of space and time relative to one another so that they should be “the same” to the extent that interconvertables like energy and matter are the same.

So when they try to force the universe into “states”, they run into problems because “stationary states” (which cannot exist according to EHT).  You eliminate these classical problems because “gravity” is a function of time going non-linear.  If time were to stop (that is if time coordinates (which are shown to be conserved) stop changing) you have a black hole event.  You would (a) expect gravity to be a constant-just as there is conservation of coordinate change, so too you would have to have the force generated by this change to be constant and (b) you would expect something a fundamentally huge as time going non-linear to result in some sort of energy release which is just what gravity reflects.  That is, in NLT gravity is a creation of time coordinates changing which makes sense as the “creation of space” thereby, the creation of dimension itself, should result in some huge force and what's more the force for any amount of space would be expected to be exponentially small and gravity is a very weak force, although once the whole universe of non-linearity is taken into account it is rather significant.

Quantization of spacetime:matter distributed in space and time is described as “at best an approximation) but in not says just the opposite.  It is not an approximation but is instead a certain quantum state with specific coordinates.  The terms that should be investigated from the paper include the statement “not only the metric but also the underlying differential structure and topology” be quantized.  This says that space is capable of quantization but fails to establish a structural framework for its examination (time coordinates in NLT).

I will discuss this further and add a couple of terms, but first, I want to deal with the quantum/analog question just briefly.

The non quantum change in quantum fluctuation is an issue which would appear unlikely, but is it really?

This is merely the suggestion that in nature we observe linearity until we drop out of space and may therefore drop back into it though this is not suggested by not...yet.  However, isn't the absence of all quantum when time goes non-linear, when there are no quantum changes in coordinates, a type of analog non-quantum linearity?  This is the province of what is called G-space in EHT.

More on this later.

Traveling Alone: 2500 years ago and today Part I

Traveling alone was different on a motorcycle before cell phones.  I did it on an old 1965 BMW retrofitted to hold a backpack which held clothes, enough tools to rebuild the engine in a parking lot (including the 3x10mm fine thread bolts you'd need to remove the clutchplate) and had a two man nylon tent tied on top. Now, there a cell phones, hotels, and books on tape-I'll get to that last shortly and portable computers that allow you to pretend you are connected to someone else.  The truth may be that when you are traveling alone, you are not really connected to anything except the road and what you are carrying with you.
I mentioned I was reading...and understanding...Don Quixote for the first time.  Any prior reading had no understanding in it.  I read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance which is the same book without a lot of the insanity, just as The secret life of Walter Mitty is the same book (in short story form) with the insanity but without the  travel.
When I traveled alone before, there were fewer scheduled stops.  Don Quixote relies too much of coincidence but there is plenty of self determination in between and perhaps the lesson is that if you take advantage of self determination, then the coincidences will present themselves.
Anyway, I mentioned the books on tape and I'll get to that shortly.

What I'd give up before you

What would I give up
to hear your laugh
to see you smile
would I give up food
for just one day
i've done that before
for religious reasons
would i stop drinking
for how long
could you expect that
and how long
would be enough
and yet all of those
are things which
I would give up
to be with you
as long as I could
and perhaps even longer
for just one more night
and what would i give
it it was tonight
if it was the last night I had
if it was the last night you had
what would i give
to talk to you again
to know you are ok
to know if you love me
or if you have moved on
to see you were happy
and to hold you in my arms
and try to give you peace
and what am i willing
to give you up
and why would i chose
to give up everything
for anything
who could explain that
if I don't even know
perhaps the answer
lies in what love is
putting something before you
putting something before me
but is that really love
if it puts anything before us

in a non linear time universe shouldn't all black holes weigh the same thing

There are a lot of questions that need to be answered in a non-linear time universe (or a broadcast universe-like the hologram theory universes).
One is why black holes don't weight the same thing and why do they appear as coordinates in space.
Before we talk about Non-linear time, let's compare the two broadcast models (string hologram and einstein hologram)
Because String Hologram Universes are published from a two dimensional film, you can vary things as much as they are varied on the film.  To the extent that E-H-theory envisions that everything happens at once until time goes linear, you have the same type of variation possible.
However, both E-H-T and Non-linear time theory predict that black holes represent gravity (the tendency of time to go non-linear) being so great that time goes non linear.  So why don't all black holes weigh the same thing (nothing).  This is actually answered in the earliest blogs and even in the first edition.
EHT and and NLT are both all about infinite series.
Time going to zero and high concentrations of gravity are both about this equation (simplified):
T=x/(1-dt) as dt goes to 1 (and therefore the answer goes to infinity).
The answer to the weight of black holes is therefore answered by the fact that what we see is a snapshot of an infinite series universe.
At any black hole (or any gravity well including a planet or a small rock)time is driven towards zero.  We expect this result because the dt for things moving fast (turning into energy) goes to zero, so as things move towards dt=0 (no change in coordinates) time goes towards infinity, remembering that everything in the universe is necessarily in constant movement.
In a black hole, then, the majority of matter is falling into the universe or (see prior entries) being converted to a high enough energy state to escape.  In fact, it is possible that none of the "time" in a black hole has actually gone to zero (as opposed to going to zero).
One example would be that clock time 1 goes to zero, but not clock time 2.  Another would be that time goes to planck length but does not drop out of the universe completely.
Yet another is that black holes do in fact drop out of the universe and disappear!  This means if we were looking at a black hole at just the right moment, we would see its gravitational effects vanish before our eyes.  Since all galaxies have a black hole at the center, it would seem like we might see this, but when we think in terms of what circumstances would take a planck length black hole and make it non-linear, that is making it cease to have dimension and linear time and visibility it becomes a more complex question.
However, all black holes should change the same way
there should be some common denominator that shows the change.  The adoption of some qualities other than gravity that define the universe.  The conversion of time in either direction, a change in the way that speed happens, something that speaks to the fact that the universe allows for time to become non-linear at high gravity concentrations.
More on this later.

the value of money...and life

I was watching something old and black and white and heard a character say something "cheesy". "The value of money lies in what you did to earn it." (in reference to $500.00)
Now I'm not going tell what it was that I was watching, so don't ask.  Some things are embarrassing just like a briefcase full of money seems pretty good.  But there are some times when money has no value.  If you are on a boat that is sinking in the ocean, or a plane that is getting ready to crash, a raft or a parachute are more valuable.
But that isn't what the quote was about.  It didn't have anything to do with where you were with the money.  It had to do with something more subtle, what you did to get the money.  You can write that off based on the spending value of money; but I'm not sure that it doesn't hold more than a grain of truth.
What if life was lived just for length.  Alexander died a young man, but if he had lived to be a million years old, he would not be remembered for anything other than outliving others.  Instead he is known for conquering the world, or his little part of it.  The value of life lies in the way it is lived, so why wouldn't the money earned have more to do with how it was earned.  Perhaps this message is lost today, but perhaps it is a more important message.  I think striving to live the right way is the message hidden in there.  It doesn't matter if you end up with the briefcase full of money, it is the message of courage and action that lies at the heart of the universe.
I've said before that I think that the universe is a reflection of time going linear.  Change is what makes an invisible universe visible.  So wouldn't the value of such a universe be how the change happens?
We are always moving-the planet spins, the entire universe is in movement, spinning, and moving.  This is why we can know that, or at least can speculate, that a change in time coordinates is what makes everything visible in the universe.
The problem with writing down everything you think about, is that you waste the time of the readers.

Sharing

Love is wanting to share
And I'm true love
And not passion
It is more than bodily fluids
In such a light
Do I preserve these thoughts
To share one day
Should love allow
And in this vein
I will share
with everyone an item
I recently reread or started again
since re-reading is too kind
a reference to what i may have done
when i was younger and wiser
the book though, Don Quixote
perhaps a book that should not be shared
with young readers
who cannot understand the subtlety
and the lure or insanity
and the lexicon of english
benefits from this text written in spanish
which is not only en enteratinment
a study of the mind
but a microcosm of history
suggesting its own insanity
for who isn't drawn by the romance
of traveling the world from inn to wilderness
sharing stories and searching for the lost love
which fate is determined to keep one instant beyond redemption
and which may, through fate
be redeemed

Anti matter as anti time-Part 1

Dimension and Anti dimension
This discussion has more to do with Linear time than any other if there is such a thing as anti-matter.
Now, many of you are thinking, "of course anti-matter exists, because it is observed."
Without disputing any specific conclusions, Zeno has taught us that we should not depend too heavily on what we perceive and String Hologram theory (and E-H Theory) carry the whole lesson forward (2500 years).
For purposes of this discussion, we are going to have to come up with some reason for the existence of something that is the same as matter but which when combined "destroys it"
Now here is where we take some of the prior posts and come up with something truly amazing.
Instead of matter and anti-matter "destroying" one another, what if they complete one another?
Where are we headed with this?
Instead of a time and anti-time, what if we are looking matter being ct(1) and anti matter being ct(2). and the combination allowing for the same result we see with space.  That is, invisibility by existing an instant off by having both ct1 and ct2 together.
This is just a theory of space, based on a possibility suggested by the existence of multiple dim
envisions and the invisibility of space as a building block for energy also merely a suggestion of relativity.
But this entry is on anti-matter as anti-time and requires a much deeper analysis and so this is in parts.

Exploration of Non-Linear Time Theory Part 1

There is so much to Non-Linear Time theory, that a comprehensive examination is difficult.  One thing to think about are the directions that are open so we can decide which roads to travel and which to assume they are dead ends.
The truth is that everytime I decide to just stop and write the second edition (the first if you ignore Einstein Hologram Theory which gave birth to Non-Linear time theory) I realize there is so much to summarize and so much that I haven't had time to write, I just stop.  Eventually I will disappear and if I'm not dead, it will mean the next edition is coming.
And what will the next edition cover.  Let's outline it.
Non-Linear Time Theory; an outline

One non linear time....more than one non linear time...three non-linear times...more than 3
Linearity creates dimensions (apparently or in reality)
One dimension...more than one...three...more than three
Linearity creates clock time as a corollary to dimension
    One clock time
    more than one
    three
    more than three
we exist along one clock time
we exist along more than one clock time
Non-linear time contains all (everything happens at once without time according to einstein) dimension and clock time that was or is or will be in a non-linear fashion
Non-linear time allows for variation, everything is not predestined, Einstein was wrong
The non-linearity of time causes the universe to expand, gravity is the tendency of time to go non-linear
At the time of the big bang, there was no dimension, no space, no clock time
The big bang represents the following process:
  1) time is non linear, everything is happening at once in all probability in a single non-linear time (see above for variations)
  2) Time goes non-linear.  There being no space or dimension, this is mainly manifested in clock time(s) which are so concentrated that they create dimensions which remain concentrated at planck length, a size which is relative defined by lightspeed which is the speed of light, therefore a defining function of the speed of thought which may drive the whole universe going non-linear (see prior discussions).
3) The planck length dimension(s) are the first existence of space.  How many clock times define whether they are visible or not.  The concentrations of space are tremendous.
The whole of space is concentrated and appears to expand over time
Only a certain amount of space is concentrated and space continues to be created creating expansion
Space is conserved by creation and destruction in black holes and other gravity events, possibly even minor gravity events
          One type of gravity
One type of gravity for each form of clock time
4) Planck length space is so concentrated that space is converted to energy.  In all probability the concentration of energy at this point is too high for stable matter to form.  It is likely that this is c(1)^2 in conversion where c1 is a clock time (not necessarily the clock time) speed of light
5) The big bang occurs.  The energy created is converted back to space or more space is created to allow the expansion
6) Energy becomes low enough so that matter can form.
7) Matter coalesces sufficiently to allow gravity to reach concentrations that allow gravity to return at least some clock time to non-linearity
There is a lot more to this (read the other entries) but this is a place to begin.

The alone and being cold

I don't want the winter to end
winter is a time of loneliness
it seems ok to be alone in winter
even together we are bundled
against companionship and touch
Winters were not always like this
There was a time they were filled
with sheets and shared warmth
instead of separation and time
life stands still, frozen solid
snow falls soft and rain falls hard
covering everything with ice
things cease deteriorating
they are locked in time
as much as they are in ice
i dread the spring thaw
recognizing the dead things
will begin to decay again
their death being forced upon us
even as new lives
are born from the corpses

Net Neutrality-The theft of the internet by corporations

Where to even start on this issue?
Is it about corporate greed, the corporations being able to charge for access to your computer?  It it about preventing new companies from launching because the richer corporations can cut them off?  Is it about corporate, versus government, censorship?

Which is worse

Don't expect the poetry forever
you can't expect poetry or love
to last forever, or can you
does love need fuel
or does it burn
with something ephemeral
is there some invisible fuel
that allows it to burn
even in the absence
of the beautiful lover
and if there is such a fuel
does it require two people
or can it burn forever
if only one person loves
and does the invisible source
eventually burn out
when no new log is added
or can it outlast a lifetime
even outlasting the lovers
and which is worse
to allow the flame to go out
or to feed it with futility
