What is unsaid

We leave too much unsaid sometimes;
 trying to make the best of a beautiful day, 
trying not to fight

I often wonder if it is better when we fight
you can't really make up from nothing
you cannot appologize for what isn't promised

the answers always seem to be in the future
there are promises we make to ourselves
we have to keep

I have deadlines to keep
obligations to others
as well as myself and you

but it is a beautiful day

it is hard work to fight

and we both know the words

we have said them so many times

outloud and silently

don't think i dont want to say them again
