You are quick to anger
when I mock your pain
you think me cruel
to suffer your absence
noisily and in writing
it irritates you to know
one day I will take everything
to make a book dedicated to you
and to abandonment
who should be editing my writing
and telling me what to write
and what not to write
since only your ideas and words
were worth sharing to begin with
but you are cruel, crueler than I
and you abandoned me
more than I abandoned you
at least that is what I will write
even though we both know it's a lie
and you will not be there
to say that its wrong
or to tell me what to say instead
