I decided not to write this bit
but then it wrote itself
Because I could not
we support each other
when we're together
you undermine me
when we're apart
somehow you make me
more than i could ever be
but if we're not together
i am only a shadow
incapable any existence
only a shade of a person
and so i recognized
that without you
as a permanent fixture
it isn't the relationship
but me that is all or nothing
